About the Artist

Aimee, a singer/songwriter/musician originally from Iowa, now calls Nashville, TN home. She was named by Nashville Music Scene Magazine as an ‘Artist to Watch’. She earned both her undergraduate and law degrees at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, SD, where she was an NCAA All-American in track and cross-country. Driven by her creative passions, she later pursued fashion and art studies at institutions including The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Pratt Institute, and the University of the Arts London. Her musical journey resumed naturally after experiencing personal hardships and losses that inspired her to leave her litigation career in Miami. Songwriting became her way to process life’s challenges. Through her music, she explores universal themes like love, loss, hope, adversity, and the shared human experience. Having grown up playing multiple instruments and singing in church choir, Aimee draws on a wide range of musical influences, blending Country, Appalachia-Americana, and Rock into her distinctive sound.
